At Mitie, we need a Fabric Technician to carry out fabric-related duties throughout County Hall and maintain the site to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete general fabric PPM tasks as per the site planner.
- Undertake fabric repairs within SLA times, including small redecoration works, painting, door furniture, door closures, locks, filling and making good, and minor woodworking.
- Record job status accurately using the PDA.
- Maintain the client's premises to the highest standard through a proactive approach to repairs.
- Assist onsite engineers and undertake escort duties for subcontractors when required.
Qualifications
- Completed a recognised fabric apprenticeship or relevant fabric training courses, with necessary experience.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- High standards with a keen eye for detail, punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Capability to attend site meetings, training, and work outside normal hours where required.
