This role supports a wide range of client sites by carrying out monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing and minor plumbing tasks in line with the Legionella control programme and Water Technical Manual.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out plumbing tasks, Legionella monitoring, water sampling, remedial cleaning and chemical testing in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and Water Technical Manual.
  • Maintain accurate customer water safety logbooks and ensure all documentation is submitted in a timely manner, including follow‑up on customer queries.
  • Complete water system cleans and disinfections in line with guidance, ensuring compliance with the Legionella control programme.
  • Represent the company professionally across multiple client sites, maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering high standards of service.
  • Work independently across a range of properties, managing workload effectively to meet deadlines and agreed client requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Commercial Plumber within the FM sector; experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring or water treatment desirable.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential).
  • Basic IT skills, ideally familiar with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks across varied client environments.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
