We are looking for a qualified Commercial Gas, Multi Skilled Engineer with gas, HVAC and mechanical bias, to provide and maintain a high level of building maintenance and support to our client.
The Engineer is expected to carry out day-to-day planned preventative maintenance, reactive and project work. You should anticipate, diagnose and repair faults and complete these tasks within contractual timescales, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and project work for gas, HVAC and mechanical plant and equipment.
- Diagnose, repair faults and complete tasks within contractual timescales with accurate documentation.
- Maintain maintenance, testing and fault finding on plant equipment such as gas boilers, heating plants, pumps and ventilation.
- Supervise contractors and sub-contractors and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Prioritise own workload while assisting other engineers and staff and adhere to business continuity plans.
- Undertake reactive and chargeable works / installation requirements as required, within the contract scope.
- Ensure all reactive calls are closed out within contractual timescales and maintain compliance documentation, files and auditing tools.
- Record faults and tasks accurately on worksheets and computer systems; undertake ADHOC duties as assigned.
- Ensure equipment, plant, rooms and services are kept clean, safe and secure.
- Time-served apprenticeship with relevant qualification.
- Gas qualifications including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1.
- Full UK Driving License and relevant experience.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20 kg, ascend/descend vertical access equipment, work at heights, and be available for a call-out rota.
