Job Overview: Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service and create a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).
- Full 5‑year checkable employment and education history is required; failure to provide this may result in offer withdrawal or termination.
Main Duties:
- Deliver industry leading customer service
- Deterrence of violence and public order offences
- Conduct store patrols
- Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss
- Liaise with store management, police, and crime partnership groups to foster a safe environment
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for customers and colleagues
