Job Overview

  • Established sector competence in security, door supervision, CCTV, health and safety, fire safety.

Main Duties

  • Deliver and evaluate SIA security officer, door supervisor and CCTV courses to the business.
  • Work with the Learning support team to deliver training in line with business requirements.
  • Complete all course related admin accurately after each course.
  • Ensure all security training meets regulatory and QA standards where required.
  • Ensure all training is delivered in an engaging and professional manner.
  • Maintain continuous CPD requirements.
  • Be an ambassador for the Mitie security's vision and values and ensure they are embedded into all training interventions.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification or higher.
  • Conflict management trainer certificate.
  • Physical intervention trainer certificate.
  • Current Security Officer, Door Supervisor, CCTV qualifications.
  • Current First Aid / Assessor qualification.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in delivering both face-to-face and blended learning approaches.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to delivery.
  • Excellent planning, diary management and time management skills.
  • Strives for excellence and is passionate about own personal and professional development.
