How to prepare for a job interview at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Know Your Role Inside Out

Before the interview, make sure you thoroughly understand the responsibilities of a Regional Planner. Familiarise yourself with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and how it aligns with company KPIs. This will help you demonstrate your knowledge and show that you're genuinely interested in the role.

Show Off Your Communication Skills

Since liaising with clients and coordinating subcontractors is key, prepare examples of how you've effectively communicated in previous roles. Think about times when you had to manage multiple workloads or resolve conflicts, and be ready to share those stories.

Get Comfortable with Tech

Brush up on your IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word. You might be asked to demonstrate your proficiency, so consider practising some common tasks or creating a sample schedule to showcase your abilities during the interview.

Prepare Questions That Matter

Interviews are a two-way street, so come prepared with thoughtful questions about the company culture, team dynamics, and how success is measured in the role. This shows that you're not just looking for any job, but that you're genuinely interested in contributing to their success.
