Role Overview: The role supports procurement activity within the Critical Environments business and reports to the Business Unit Business Partner.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support and lead strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contracting activities, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and service outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and execution of category strategies aligned to business needs and risk mitigation.
- Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities while maintaining service performance and supply continuity.
- Implement and maintain supplier management programmes across strategic and preferred suppliers.
- Measure, review, and improve supplier performance, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted commercial and procurement partner.
- Work cross‑functionally with finance, audit, shared services, and operational teams to support business objectives.
- Support delivery of annual procurement targets across cost, quality, reliability, and service performance.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–4 years’ experience in a procurement or buying role, with evidence of continuous development.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in sourcing, negotiation and supplier management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
