We’re looking for an experienced Engineer to join the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field Service team. You will be responsible for the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive calls and additional small works. Your duties will include routine servicing, testing, inspection, repair and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as keeping accurate documentation and records.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of fire and security systems, including testing and inspection to relevant standards and codes.
  • Previous experience carrying out PPM, reactive work and small works in the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work to high health and safety standards.
  • Experience in fault finding, accident reporting or RAMS is preferred.
  • Willingness to attend company‑initiated training to keep technical knowledge current.
