About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, approachable Retail Security Officer who can bring energy, professionalism, and a calm presence to the shop floor.
Each day is different as you protect people, prevent loss, and create a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
- Deterrent theft, anti‑social behaviour and public order offences.
- Carry out regular store patrols.
- Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
- Work closely with store management teams.
- Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
- Use body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone on site.
- What You’ll Need
- A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training – we may support you with this).
- A full 5‑year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting).
- A proactive, professional and customer‑focused approach.
