About The Role
As a Relief Security Officer, you’ll provide support across several DWP sites throughout the region, covering planned and short‑notice absences while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service. You’ll be responsible for carrying out patrols, responding to incidents, monitoring site activity and ensuring all security and Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times. This role is ideal for someone flexible, adaptable and confident working independently across multiple locations.

- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication and customer service skills

What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment across DWP sites
- Conducting patrols and routine security checks
- Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Monitoring and reporting suspicious activity or potential risks
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting staff and visitors with a professional and approachable manner
- Following all Assignment Instructions and site procedures
- Reporting Health & Safety concerns promptly and appropriately
