We are seeking a Waste Operative to join our Waste and Cleaning team. Responsibilities include collection, movement, sorting, processing, and dispatch of waste and materials, including compaction of waste and cardboard.
The role requires compliance with Health and Safety regulations, equipment performance monitoring, supporting the On-Site Waste Coordinator, and following PPE guidance.
Requirements include holding a current Counter Balance FLT license, willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, good English communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management to meet deadlines. A DBS check and drugs/alcohol screening are mandatory prior to start.
Preferred experience includes Health & Safety training, understanding waste management and environmental legislation, experience with static balers and compactors, and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
