Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).
• Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
• Deterrence of violence and public‑order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Liaise with police and crime partnerships to foster a strong working relationship that supports crime reduction in store.
• Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for colleagues and customers.
