Building Fabric Engineer

Overview

Building Fabric Engineer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer OR Fabric Engineer to provide a building fabric maintenance and repairs service. The role sits within our facility support service and covers a diverse range of clients, industries and sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a building fabric service such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, and patch repairs.
• Ideally have worked in the building services sector, or similar, with basic electrical and/or plumbing skills as you will be carrying out fabric repairs.
• You should be physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and good verbal and written communication; comfortable working with IT to record tasks and updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.
