What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing core skills and knowledge to install, maintain and repair electrical systems.
  • Assisting with planned routine maintenance as well as reactive repair tasks.
  • Collaborating with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, making safety and sustainability a priority in every task.

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto an Electrical Installation - SCQF Level 7 qualification which normally runs for 4 years. You will be fully supported by our partnered team to achieve this qualification with 1-2-1 advice, e-learning materials, and access to experts for advice and technical knowledge. Our dedicated Apprenticeship Team will support you every step of the way, helping you make the most of your opportunities and achieve your goals.

  • A keen interest in your chosen field.
  • The ability to think critically and find solutions.
  • Dedication to completing your apprenticeship and growing with Mitie.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent) or Scottish National 5 certificates (Grade A-C). Certificates must be provided at the interview stage.
