As a Senior Product Owner, you’ll play a key role within Mitek’s global product management team, driving the development and delivery of innovative, scalable identity verification solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to tactically impact a major revenue stream, working across the full development lifecycle from discovery through to delivery and optimization.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Define and maintain the product delivery roadmap and backlog, including working with product leadership to prioritize major client deliverables.
  • Analyse customer feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define clear and actionable epics, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
  • Serve as the primary driver of day-to-day product execution for major platform initiatives, including scrum team management and technology partnership.
  • Monitor post-release performance and synthesize data to recommend enhancements and inform future roadmap decisions.
  • Manage a large, complex cross-product backlog with competing priorities and high operational load, including alignment across multiple areas, ensuring consistency, clarity, and readiness at scale.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively manage dependencies, reducing escalation and disruption of roadmap.
  • Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and integration readiness.

What You Will Need (Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a product owner or management role, including project coordination and stakeholder management.
  • Expertise with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Effective knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar for backlog and requirement management.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, software development processes, and UX principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; experience working across multiple time zones is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with B2B or SaaS platforms.
  • Exposure to working with data privacy (GDPR) or personally identifiable information (PII).
