We are now looking for a dependable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Rugby operation.

The Role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing driving role involving multi-drop deliveries to our established customer base. You will be responsible not just for driving, but for representing the business on the road and ensuring every delivery meets our standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete multi-drop delivery routes (typically 10-15 drops per day)
  • Safely load, secure, and deliver goods in line with company and DVSA standards
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects via company procedures
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate, on time, and professionally handled
  • Rotate stock at customer sites to maintain product quality
  • Collect payments where required and return all paperwork accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised vehicle at all times
  • Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Adhere to all company procedures, including health & safety and reporting systems

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Current Driver CPC (DQC)
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Good level of physical fitness (role involves regular manual handling)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional attitude
  • Good communication and customer service skills
