You will work to ensure successful openings across the Mitchells & Butlers estate, focusing on attracting new guests while retaining previous ones. This is an implementation role requiring a high degree of flexibility and collaboration across functions to deliver seamless marketing launches. You will be part of a larger planning and production team supporting the company’s big-picture objectives.
Working in our Birmingham city centre head office on a 12-month fixed term contract, you’ll be part of our Central Marketing team.

The Opportunity – Marketing Administration Executive
- Managing and maintaining clear planning documentation that tracks key milestones for new openings and keeps timings aligned with opening schedules.
- Ensuring all digital touchpoints for a new business are updated in a timely manner (email schedules, websites, 3rd party bookable spaces, social, review sites, etc.).
- Collaborating with relevant brand teams to define the printed material pack required for each new opening, capturing and delivering variations from templates.
- Coordinating with agency partners to ensure marketing collateral, photography, and PR requirements are delivered to agreed timescales.
- Being a key stakeholder and supporter within the planning and production team.
- Working across functions to support strategic and trading priorities.
- Supporting the media process and ad hoc projects that align with brand objectives.
- Communicating clearly to key stakeholders at all stages of the process.
What you’ll need to bring to the Marketing Administration Executive role
- 1-2 years’ experience within a marketing or similar discipline, or graduate level (any discipline; marketing is desirable).
- Self-starting capabilities with the ability to continuously meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage internal and external relationships.
