Role
We need a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Operative (Plumber / Carpenter bias) to travel via company van to pubs and restaurants across the Southall, Ealing, Hounslow, Chiswick, Hammersmith and Hayes area. You will be assigned roughly 40 sites and be responsible for general maintenance work, including plumbing, joinery, painting, tiling and pest‑proofing. You will also handle occasional larger projects such as fence replacements and kitchen or bathroom fittings.
Responsibilities
- Basic cold‑water plumbing – fixing toilet flushes and repairing leaking pipes
- Woodwork and joinery work
- Painting and decorating
- Floor and wall tiling
- Pest proofing
- Occasional larger works such as fence replacements, fitting of replacement kitchens and bathrooms
Requirements
- Proven experience in a multi‑skilled trade role with plumbing and/or joinery, or a main trade such as plumbing, joinery or carpentry
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to tasks and ability to work on your own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service focus
- Ability to work to tight timescales and manage own workload
- Experience delivering maintenance works to multi‑unit retail sites or successful self‑employment is advantageous
