We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Parts Trainee Advisor to join our dedicated Parts team at Mitchell Group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the automotive industry, working in a fast-paced dealership environment where training and development are at the heart of what we do. The successful candidate will have some knowledge of motor vehicle parts, be computer literate and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience within a dealership is preferred; however, training will be given to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, identify and book in stock deliveries
  • Check goods received from suppliers for accuracy
  • Correctly locate and organise parts within the stores department
  • Accurately identify customers' parts requirements using electronic parts catalogues and stock systems
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both trade and retail customers
  • Process parts sales and transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Apply the appropriate discount structure where applicable
  • Support trade and retail Parts sales, including NORA operations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the Parts department

  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Some knowledge of motor vehicle parts
  • Computer literate with good IT skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • A team player with a positive and professional attitude

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Every third Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business.

Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
