The role of the Senior Design Manager – Façade Systems will involve:
- Senior Design Manager position responsible for the management and design of a high-quality manufactured range of façade systems for commercial projects.
- Attend design meetings both virtually and in person weekly.
- Build, grow and manage an internal team of Designers while also working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Support both external sales and internal teams, providing technical input and ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Develop detailed design specifications for products and projects.
- Offer 1st line technical support by telephone, email, and occasional site visits.
- Support new product launches and exhibitions as and when required.
- Review, create, and analyse project/product designs.
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Design Manager – Façade Systems with:
- A technical understanding of the building envelope market sector open to: façades, cladding, curtain walling, glazing or a closely related product/system.
- People management experience.
- Excellent design experience using AutoCAD / BIM / Revit.
- Great communication skills.
- Existing project management experience is ideal.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
