Responsibilities:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of fire doors.
- New business development role; 60% of all projects are social housing, 40% mix of education, healthcare, commercial, residential and FM companies.
- Majority of your time selling direct into owner/ MD’s of building contractors, joinery contractor/ installers.
- Remainder of time influencing housing associations and social housing framework providers at a regional buyer, operational or compliance manager level.
- Tasked with growing the area by £1.5m; average project size £50,000.
- Loads of lapsed accounts to go after as well as Glenigan leads and Zoom Info.
- Visiting our clients depots twice per month.
- Dealing with both new build and refurbishment projects.
Qualifications:
- Must have field sales experience with related customers; housing associations, social housing providers, FM companies, education, healthcare, commercial or residential.
- New business hunter.
- Sold into a contractor/ installer network, doesn’t have to be Tier One’s.
- Specific knowledge of fire doors is not essential; general appreciation for passive fire protection preferred.
- Team player yet able to work autonomously.
