The role of the Operations Manager– Passive Fire Protection will involve:
- Operations Manager position dealing with a range of dry riser fire protection systems across education, residential, offices and commercial situations
- Overseeing the installation of new installs of dry risers liaising with external subcontractors
- Producing and reviewing quotations and ensuring they are cost effective and competitive
- Building relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- Carrying out risk and value management
- Working closely with Senior Management
- Overall responsibility for the costing of quotation and tender returns
- Estimating for projects ranging from £5k – £2m
The ideal applicant will be Operations Manager– Passive Fire Protection with:
- Must have experience within fire sprinklers, dry risers fire suppression or related
- Ideally have experience with the design, install, project management, operations or related
- Understanding of BS999 would be highly advantageous
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills)
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Must be a great team player
- High levels of organisation
