The role of Estimator Commercial Fit Out will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with fit-out and refurbishment projects for various industries such as leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants.
- Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations.
- Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Producing formal quotations to customers.
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines.
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
- Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information.
- Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Working on projects ranging in value up to £10m.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Commercial Fit Out with:
- Extensive estimating experience within the construction fit-out market sector.
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
- Resilient individual.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Familiar with estimating software such as Eque2 / Evaluate or similar.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Full UK driving license.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
