The role of the Estimator Rail Infrastructure will involve:
- Dealing with a range of rail infrastructure projects including civil engineering, minor civils, drainage installation, concrete bases, new station platforms, minor earthworks and culvert renewal.
- Reviewing tender documents and gaining an understanding of specifications and requirements.
- Producing accurate BOQs and gathering material & subcontractor quotes.
- Formalising quotation to clients and producing project programme.
- Liaising with clients and subcontractors regularly.
- Attending tender meetings where required.
- Managing projects ranging in value from £1k to £5m.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Rail Infrastructure with:
- Estimating experience within infrastructure/rail or related fields such as Civils/Drainage utilities, Groundworks, Highways and/or earthworks.
- Experience pricing small to mid-sized works (£1k - £5m).
