Job responsibilities:
- External field sales position selling a range of timber products and sheet materials
- Work with tier 1, 2 & 3 contractors, sub‑contractors, D & B contractors, joinery contractors, small to medium sized builders, shop fitters and merchants
- After year one, generate approximately £2m in turnover
- Work out of a dedicated branch with strong internal support
- Upsell and cross‑sell product range where possible
Ideal applicant qualifications:
- Proven track record selling timber products
- Existing contacts within the industry and a pre‑existing customer base
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information
- Computer literate
