The role of Estimator Specialist Joinery & Woodworking will involve:
- Dealing with a high end range of bespoke furniture & joinery projects for residential sectors (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets, surfaces etc.)
- Managing projects from initial enquiry through to final quotation, ensuring accurate and commercially viable pricing
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify scope, materials, quantities and project requirements
- Producing detailed take-offs, BOQs and quotations within required deadlines
- Estimating material, labour, manufacturing and installation costs
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain costs for specialist materials and outsourced requirements
- Working closely with designers, architects, clients and production teams throughout the estimating process
- Providing technical support, answering client queries and maintaining strong relationships
- Supporting project handovers and monitoring costs through to completion
