The role of the Area Sales Manager Kitchens will involve:

  • Field sales role selling our clients manufactured range of kitchens
  • Selling into predominantly independent retail showrooms
  • Smaller element of dealing with builders merchants and regional housebuilders
  • 30-40% of your time account managing circa 30 trading accounts (with a turnover of approx. £1.2m)
  • 60-70% of your time focused on new business development, after 6 months you will be targeted to generate £100,000 of new business per month
  • On boarding 15-20 independent retail showrooms initially to achieve run rate target
  • Typically 4 days a week on the road, remainder working from home
  • Ideally 4-5 meaningful customer visits a day when on the road

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Kitchens with:

  • Must come from the KBB market, ideally kitchens
  • Contacts within independent retail showrooms
  • Open to sales experience working for independent retail showrooms or field sales experience selling to independent retail showrooms
  • New business hunter
  • Resilient and relentless approach
  • Thrives on winning new clients and driving revenue growth
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Organised, methodical, good journey planner
  • Well presented
