The role of the Structural Design Engineer – Fixing Systems will involve:

  • Structural Design Engineer position, dealing with a high end range of manufactured fixing systems
  • Respond to engineering enquiries made by M&E contractors & consultants
  • Carry out structural analysis and calculations
  • Produce BIM models & CAD drawings appropriate to the enquiries
  • Ensure that projects and designs are compliant with standards and regulations
  • Building relationships with clients where possible to encourage repeat business
  • Working on projects ranging in value from £1k to £250k

The ideal applicant will be Structural Design Engineer – Fixing Systems with:

  • Must have Structural Engineering degree level qualification or equivalent
  • Sound working experience with CAD & BIM Modelling software
  • Ideally will have working experience within the construction industry with a bias to the M&E market sector
  • Would consider a graduate with relevant qualification
  • Proactive, initiative, ‘think on your feet’ approach
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
