The role of the Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring will involve:
- Managing various commercial flooring projects from tender through to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and to specification.
- Carrying out site surveys, preparing accurate quotations, and overseeing tender submissions.
- Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality installations and compliance with H&S standards.
- Building strong client and supplier relationships while managing budgets and project profitability.
- Providing progress reports, forecasts, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Managing projects ranging in value up to circa £1m.
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring with:
- Contract Management / Project Management experience within the flooring market sector.
- Knowledge of various flooring systems such as: vinyl, safety vinyl, sheet vinyl, commercial carpets, carpet tiles, rubber flooring, vinyl flooring, LVT.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal.
- Resilience to manage site installers.
- Professional and highly organised.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Full UK driving license.
