The role of the Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring will involve:

  • Managing various commercial flooring projects from tender through to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and to specification.
  • Carrying out site surveys, preparing accurate quotations, and overseeing tender submissions.
  • Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality installations and compliance with H&S standards.
  • Building strong client and supplier relationships while managing budgets and project profitability.
  • Providing progress reports, forecasts, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Managing projects ranging in value up to circa £1m.

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring with:

  • Contract Management / Project Management experience within the flooring market sector.
  • Knowledge of various flooring systems such as: vinyl, safety vinyl, sheet vinyl, commercial carpets, carpet tiles, rubber flooring, vinyl flooring, LVT.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal.
  • Resilience to manage site installers.
  • Professional and highly organised.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Full UK driving license.
