Industry Sector: KBB, Bathrooms, Bathroom Taps, Brassware, Showers, Sanitaryware, Tapware, Independent Bathroom Retailers, Plumbers Merchants and Buying Groups.
Area to be covered: Scotland.
Responsibilities:
- 50% new business development, expected to recruit approx. 4 new bathroom retail showrooms/buying group members per month (Scotland only).
- 50% account managing existing independent bathroom retailers/buying group members.
- Customer accounts typically turning over £5,000-£10,000 but can be much larger (£60,000+).
- Utilising your own retail showroom customer contacts as well as leads via groups such as UK Plumbing Supplies, Bathcom, NBG, Fortis and IPG.
- Required to conduct 5+ client meetings per day.
The ideal applicant will have:
- A proven track record of field sales from within the bathroom industry.
- Experience selling into bathroom retail showrooms/plumbers merchants and buying group members (e.g. NBG, Fortis, UKPS, MKM, Plumbase).
- A new business and account management mentality.
- Contacts within the independent bathroom retail/buying group member communities.
- Self-motivation.
