The role of the Estimator Steel Fabrication will involve:

  • Estimating position dealing with a range of high quality fabricated structural and architectural steel
  • Liaising with main client, installers, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders
  • Obtaining prices of products from clients
  • Reading and interpreting drawings to gain understanding of projects
  • Producing detailed project quotations of developments for management to review
  • Producing final quotations for clients and following up
  • Responding to any queries and making amendments where required
  • Respond to inbound enquiries via telephone and email
  • Working on project sizes ranging between £10k - £1m

The ideal applicant will be Estimator Steel Fabrication with:

  • Must have estimating or technical estimating experience in the steel fabrication or related
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Driven, ambitious, self-motivated and a positive attitude
  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment
