The role of the Specification Sales Manager Flooring will involve:
- Field sales position selling a high quality range of manufactured carpets and carpet tiles into all commercial sectors such as education, healthcare and hospitality.
- Generating specifications with A&D, architects and interior designers, main contractors, flooring contractors, fit out contractors and end users.
- Inheriting a territory currently turning over circa £1.5m.
- Average order values will range from £30-50k depending on type/size of project.
- Typical projects include: care homes, hotels and schools.
- Conducting CPD seminars and attending tradeshows when required.
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Flooring with:
- Specification sales experience with architects and interior designers (A&D).
- Consideration for candidates selling via fit out contractors, flooring contractors, main contractors and end users with limited specification experience.
- Experience selling interior products such as flooring, carpets, carpet tiles, tiles, wallpaper, fabrics, wallcoverings, furniture, acoustic panelling, acoustic ceilings, suspended ceilings etc.
- Open to all interior building products that are sold through architects and interior designers.
- Ideally have knowledge of education, healthcare and hospitality market sectors.
- Strong presentation skills, and an ability to interpret a design brief.
