Responsibilities
- Delivering a range of high-quality masonry packages on residential and commercial developments across the UK.
- Dealing with Tier 1 developers and contractors such as Multiplex, Kier, Willmott Dixon, Bellway, Wates & Landsec.
- Manage the commercial and financial performance of brickwork packages from tender stage through to final account.
- Prepare budgets, valuations, payment applications, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Identify, price, negotiate, and agree variations and additional works.
- Administer and advise on subcontract and main contract conditions (primarily JCT).
- Work closely with site, contracts, and estimating teams to support profitable and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
- Must have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Ideally have experience within brickwork, masonry or related disciplines.
- Would consider someone with a main contractor background.
- Must have strong proficiency in producing take-offs.
- Must have excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Strong numerical skills.
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
- Presentable, humble, enthusiastic & self-motivated.
