The role of the Site Manager – Construction Refurbishment involves managing a range of commercial refurbishment projects across the South West, including groundworks, roofing, faΓ§ades, carpentry, internal fit-out, decorating and finishing.

This is a site-based role supporting the project manager to ensure the smooth running of major projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating direct labour, subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders on site.
  • Planning and scheduling works in line with project programmes, ensuring deadlines and budgets are achieved.
  • Preparing work schedules for installation teams and coordinating site logistics.
  • Monitoring project progress, quality, productivity and resource allocation throughout.
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards on projects and ensuring full site compliance.
  • Carrying out quality inspections, snagging, close-out procedures and providing regular project updates to clients and internal teams.

The ideal applicant will have site management experience within the construction refurbishment sector.
