The role of the Senior Contracts Manager – Architectural Metalwork will involve:
- Dealing with a range of architectural metalwork projects such as: secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies and balustrades
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to gain an understanding of requirements
- Overseeing projects from cradle to grave
- Regular liaison with clients to update on project status and gather any further technical information required
- Producing RAMS & H&S documentation for projects
- Resource and allocate labour / subcontractors
- Overall financial control and appraisal of each project, managing variations where necessary
- Building and developing relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
- Managing projects ranging in value from £100k - £5m+
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Contracts Manager – Architectural Metalwork with:
- Extensive Contracts Management experience within the metalwork industry
- Strong technical understanding of secondary steelwork, stairs, balustrades and balconies is highly advantageous
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Full UK driving license
- Stable career background, no job hoppers
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Effective time management, leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
