The role of the Regional Sales Manager – Plumbing and Heating will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a distributed range of 5,000+ plumbing, heating and building products as well as project solutions for underfloor heating, ventilation, renewables and air source heat pumps.
  • Responsible for an area achieving growth despite not previously having had a dedicated field sales resource.
  • Responsible for circa 200 customers initially, 75% plumbing and heating merchants, 25% builders merchants.
  • Initial ledger responsibility for circa £3m.
  • Tasked with doubling turnover and merchant customers over the next 4-5 years in line with company growth plans.
  • 50% of your time on boarding new merchant customers, 50% maximizing growth within the existing customer base.
  • Taking advantage of national trading agreements within Fortis, H&B, IPG, IBC etc.

The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager – Plumbing and Heating with:

  • Proven field sales experience selling into plumbing and heating merchants or builders merchants.
  • General plumbing and heating product knowledge.
  • Hungry go-getter attitude.
  • Ambitious and driven.
  • Specific knowledge of ventilation, renewables and air source heat pumps is not essential as a team of technical experts will be supporting this position.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office and CRM system).
