The role of the Product Engineer Electrical Products will involve:
Product Engineer position dealing with a high end manufactured rang of electrical products
Assist with the development of new and existing products
Carry out testing of product samples from manufacturers and overseas suppliers
Establishing product specifications, writing product briefs, and determining applicable standards
Establishing product and packaging labelling and marking requirements including packaging labels, product instruction leaflets and data sheets
Collaborate with the Quality Team to investigate product problems, to report findings and manage product improvements with partner factories
Produce product documentation, risk assessments and compliance reports
The ideal applicant will be a Product Engineer Electrical Products with:
Must have experience within Product Development or Product Design within the electromechanical industry
Ideally will have dealt with a range of electrical products such as: Lighting, EV Chargers, Power Supplies
Knowledge of electrical product application and electrical installation, including work practices on building sites would be of benefit
Ideally will have experience liaising with global suppliers
Ideally knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations
High levels of organisation and attention to detail
IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
