Location: Portsmouth

Remuneration: £30,000 - £34,000 + Bonus

The role of the Internal Sales Executive – Renewable Energy Products will involve:

  • Internal sales position selling a range of solar energy renewable products such as solar PV, heat pumps, car charging, solar lighting, voltage optimizers, battery storage.
  • All of your time will be spent selling to contractors, electrical installers, renewable installers, manufacturers, councils and the general public.
  • Handling inbound enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Raising quotes and orders for customers.
  • Initially there will be no targets, however as you progress within the role you will be targeted on new trade business accounts, onboarding new customers & sales.
  • Project sizes can vary from 2 panel kits used on roofs to 1000 panel solar farms.
  • Order values can fluctuate massively, with some valued at £1000 and others rising to £3m.

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive – Renewable Energy Products with:

  • Must have experience within the renewable energy industry.
  • Ideally have experience selling within a manufacturer, wholesaler, distributor etc.
  • Would consider someone from a renewables installer background.
  • Must be sales driven, show a willingness to learn and to progress within the company.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
