The role of the Technical Support Engineer – Boilers & Renewables will involve:

  • Providing technical support dealing with a range of heating solutions such as boilers, heat tanks and renewable heat pumps.
  • Acting as first line technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for all queries relating to central heating products.
  • Offering technical support to internal stakeholders.
  • Fielding inbound telephone queries and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Carrying out product training and familiarisation for both colleagues and customers.
  • Prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer – Boilers & Renewables with:

  • Experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector.
  • Knowledge specifically in renewables, heat pumps and air sourced heat pumps (ideal but not essential).
  • A background as an engineer, installer, technical support, technical engineer, or technical advisor.
  • A positive telephone manner with the ability to resolve customer queries in a professional manner.
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A stable career history.
