The role of the Estimator – Bespoke Joinery will involve:

  • Promoting a range of bespoke joinery and fit-out projects for commercial and residential sectors
  • Dealing with inbound project enquiries and reviewing scopes of work
  • Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Carrying out site surveys and measurements to compile further information for quotation
  • Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information as required
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
  • Producing formal quotations to clients
  • May be required to do tasks outside of estimating to assist the team
  • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery with:

  • Estimating experience within the joinery sector
  • Highly advantageous to come from a bespoke joinery manufacturer
  • May be open to someone from a bespoke interior product background or come from the interior fit-out sector
  • Preferable to have surveying experience for site visits
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding of current building regulations
  • Strong character that’s not afraid to help the team when necessary
