The role of the Design Coordinator - Timber Fire Doors will involve:
- Design Coordinator position dealing with a high end manufactured range of fire door doors & door sets
- Working closely with Architects, Specifiers, Contractors, and Project Managers to determine project requirements
- Reviewing enquiries and familiarising yourself with the project/tender document packs (such as drawings, surveys, and schedules)
- Developing compliant door system designs in alignment with client expectations, project requirements, and industry standards
- Producing detailed door schedules, drawings and specifications for projects
- Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met
- Working on project sizes ranging between £10k - £1m
The ideal applicant will be a Design Coordinator - Timber Fire Doors with:
- A proven track record as a Designer, Design Coordinator or Project Coordinator within the timber fire door market sector
- Experience dealing with timber fire doors
- Ability to interpret Field of Applications, EXAPS and product listings
- Experience carrying out schedule compliance and drawings

- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
