The role of the National Sales Manager – Outdoor Playground Equipment will involve:
- Field based sales management position, overseeing the design, manufacture and install of outdoor playground equipment
- Managing a team of six field sales professionals nationally targeting local authorities, but also schools & nurseries, parish councils, landscape architects and leisure operators
- Responsible for a turnover of approx. £9m
- 90% coaching, mentoring and developing the field sales team, 10% direct selling, building relationships with key customers
- Working with product development team to identify market trends
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics
- Strong IT skills with an interest in improving efficiencies by digitalisation
The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager – Outdoor Playground Equipment with:
- Proven track record in managing a field sales team (open to regional)
- Ideally structured (blue chip) sales training e.g. Coca-Cola, Yellow Pages, Hilti etc.
- Ideally at least some customer experience within local authorities, schools & nurseries, parish councils, landscape architects or leisure operators
- Must understand sales processes
- Not afraid of hard graft
- New business mentality
- Proven coach, mentor and trainer of field sales staff
- High energy levels/ on the up in career
- Knowledge of outdoor playground equipment although ideal is not required as full product training will be provided
- Not job hoppers/ journey men
- Computer literate
