The role of the National Account Manager – Wood Products will involve:
- National Account Controller position promoting a high quality range of engineered wood products
- 1 direct report to manage, develop and mentor
- All of your time will be focused on managing one of our clients largest spending DIY distribution accounts (B&Q)
- Support with new product launches and development
- Directly involved with pricing implementation
- Liaise with internal customer service, marketing, supply team and transport teams
- Manage vendor performance
- National coverage willing to commute to Southampton on a regular basis
The ideal applicant will be a National Account Manager – Wood Products with:
- Must have a proven track record in sales and account management
- Must have experience managing large accounts in the retail / DIY distribution sector
- Ideally dealt directly via the Kingfisher Group previously
- Ideally sold timber / wood products however not essential
- Must be commercial astute and able to create sustainable end contractual agreements
- Analytical thinker
- Culturally sensitive and adaptable
