Estimator position dealing with a range of manufactured bespoke joinery and fit-out projects within the commercial sector.

  • Reviewing tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines.
  • Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines.
  • Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
  • Producing formal quotations to customers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Working on projects ranging in value from £50k to £3m.

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out with:

  • Estimating experience within machinery, manufacturing, joinery or fit-out sectors.
  • Candidates from a manufacturing or machinery background are highly desirable.
  • Open to estimators from manufacturing, even without joinery or fit-out experience.
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good team player who also works well individually.

Location: Commutable to Glasgow

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 neg + Potential Bonus Scheme
