- Reviewing tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines.
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines.
- Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
- Producing formal quotations to customers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Working on projects ranging in value from £50k to £3m.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out with:
- Estimating experience within machinery, manufacturing, joinery or fit-out sectors.
- Candidates from a manufacturing or machinery background are highly desirable.
- Open to estimators from manufacturing, even without joinery or fit-out experience.
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Good team player who also works well individually.
Location: Commutable to Glasgow
