We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager to deliver a high quality range of flat roofing services, including cold applied liquid, built up felt, hot melt, green roofs, solar, and single ply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the project from tender through to completion.
- Write health and safety documents for each site.
- Monitor site activity, organise workers, collate risk assessments and conduct health and safety checks.
- Liaise with quantity surveyors and commercial managers, ensuring works progress smoothly, deadlines are met, and project cost plans are maintained.
- Communicate with clients and provide project reports.
- Attend pre‑contract and progress meetings with clients.
- Maintain knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
- Oversee a single contract at any given time.
- Work predominantly on commercial projects such as local authorities, NHS, and schools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in site or project management within the flat roofing market.
- Experience in both new build (single ply & hot melt) and refurbishment flat roofing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS card & SMSTS certificate.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Confident, articulate and team‑oriented.
- Ability to plan and organise deliverables.
- High self‑confidence.
