The role of the Design Manager Facades will involve:
- Design Manager position dealing with various building envelope systems such as cladding, glazing and curtain walling.
- Lead and manage façade and glazing design from tender through to construction.
- Coordinate and oversee internal teams, external designers, consultants, and engineers to deliver high-quality, buildable design solutions.
- Align design process with project budgets and commercial goals in collaboration with procurement and estimating teams.
- Act as the primary contact with clients, contractors, architects, and authorities, including reviewing and approving subcontractor designs.
- Drive design quality, risk management, testing and compliance.
- Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value from £1m-£3m.
The ideal applicant will be a Design Manager Facades with:
- Must have Design Management experience within curtain walling, windows, rainscreen cladding, unitised façades, and/or bespoke glazing systems.
- Ideally have experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
