Office Based: Manchester (2-3 days per week)

Covering Contracts across the UK (2-3 site visits per week)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 neg + Company Car Allowance

The role of the Contracts Manager – Safety Systems will involve:

  • Contracts Manager position dealing with a manufactured range of height safety and fall arrest safety systems (such as access ladders, walkway systems, lifelines, safety gates, steel and aluminium railing systems)
  • Manage multiple projects from order acceptance through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Conduct site surveys, customer meetings and project inspections across the UK as required
  • Produce project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, job packs and technical submissions
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, installation teams and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery
  • Monitor project costs, margins and progress, providing regular updates to senior management
  • Manage project programmes, resolve site issues and ensure compliance with training, safety and operational requirements
  • Oversee projects ranging in value from £2,000 to £100,000

The ideal applicant will be Recertification Manager – Safety Systems with:

  • Must have Contract Management / Project Management or Site Management experience dealing with a technical product within the construction industry
  • Ideally height safety and fall arrest safety systems experience although would be open to entrance systems, fire, CCTV, access, roofing systems or a closely related product/system
  • Existing IOSH or NEBOSH certification or open to getting qualification.
  • Organised, have good time management skills and to be self-motivated to perform and reach targets
