The role of the Area Sales Manager M&E Building Services will involve:
- Field sales role selling manufactured range of commercial pumps into commercial building services projects such as schools, hospitals, high rise residential and public buildings
- 40% of your time selling into M&E sub contractors
- 40% back selling through nationals like BSS and independent plumbing & heating merchants
- 20% generating specifications with M&E consultants, local authorities, health authorities and other specialist specifiers
- Majority of your time will be spent generating new business, mainly through developing existing accounts
- Project sizes from £5,000 up to £350,000 (average orders £20,000-£30,000)
- Taking over a territory currently performing ahead of budget
- Targeted to achieve £2.3m
- Keeping a well organised CRM system
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager M&E Building Services with:
- Proven field sales experience within the building services industry, ideally commercial pumps
- Ideally contacts with M&E contractors and plumbing and heating merchants
- Open to all commercial plumbing and heating products such as pumps, boilers, valves or other heating and ventilation H&V associated products
- Specification field sales experience with M&E consultants would be advantageous but is not essential
- Technical ability
- On the up in career, not a man manager looking to make a backward step
