Quantity Surveyor position managing costs related to various brickwork projects for main-contractors ·
Price the cost of materials needed for the project ·
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, BOQs and other relevant documentation ·
Track changes to the works and adjust budget projections accordingly ·
Measure and value the work done on site ·
Liaise with the client and other internal/external stake holders, such as Site managers & Project Manager ·
Working on projects varying in value up to £2.5m The ideal applicant will be an Quantity Surveyor – Brickwork industry with: ·
Must have Quantity Surveying experience ·
Ideally will have Surveying degree or equivalent, however experience outweighs qualifications ·
Ability to produce take-offs as required ·
Knowledge of construction procurement, specifications and sub-contractor management ·
Highly organised with good attention to detail ·
Excellent communicator across all levels both written and verbally ·
Computer literate (Microsoft Office) ·
