Area to be covered: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, South Coast & South London.

Remuneration: £50,000 - £57,000 neg + 25% bonus.

Benefits: Electric company car (can opt out) + usual field sales benefits.

The role of the Area Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating Products will involve:

  • Selling a range of plumbing and heating products.
  • Spending time selling into main contractors, sub-contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors, and end users such as Fairways, Shell and BT.
  • Turnover target circa £6m.
  • Inheriting circa 40/50 spending accounts.
  • New business target; however, will predominantly be an account management position.

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating Products with:

  • Experience in plumbing & heating, mechanical engineering or building services products.
  • Ideally working for distributors selling to contractors & end-users; however, open to manufacturing representatives.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised and focused with strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, driven and ambitious.
